Background
Goldust Design was formed in 2000 by Briony Hartley (née Briony Chappell).
After graduating in Typography & Graphic Communication from The University of Reading in 1996, she worked in London as a Book Designer at Orion and Art Editor
at Cassell, then moved to a small design agency and onto NCH, the children's charity.
She realised good designers are like goldust and she was one of them. Goldust was based in Battersea for 7 years before moving to Bournemouth.
Since then Briony has also worked at Farrow & Ball as Design Co-ordinator.
Our approach
Goldust has created hundreds of books, reports, magazines, brochures, brands, catalogues, posters... and is still passionate about fantastic design. For us it starts with a great conversation about the client's needs, their ideas, and what they'd like to achieve. Being good communicators, nice people and above all, great designers makes working with us enjoyable. Being creative, experienced, technical, accurate and fast makes business with us effective.
Clients
We are counting our lucky stars at having had such fabulous clients: London 2012 Olympic and Paralympic Games, The British Museum, BBC, Dorling Kindersley, Farrow & Ball, Orion, The Queen, RNIB, RNLI, Random House... and we don't just work for the big guys, we help little businesses too.
We are delighted with all the work Goldust Design have done for us. They are fast, efficient and inspiring and it's always a real pleasure to work with them.

It's great to work with a designer who is passionate and professional about what she does. Both myself and the client were extremely pleased with the new branding.
